BluPine Energy is a renewable energy platform set up in India by Actis – a leading global investor in sustainable infrastructure, with a total commitment of $800 million of equity from its Energy Fund 5 to set up 4GW of the renewable portfolio.
At BluPine Energy, we believe in building a sustainable world with green solutions that meet organizational as well as environmental needs. Delving into the holistic development and operation of solar, wind, and storage assets, we are building value for a better tomorrow.
BluPine Energy is a fast-growing team of over 100 employees at offices and sites, with a presence in 7 states across India to provide tailor-made decarbonisation solutions for our customers in state and centre utility, commercial buildings, industries, and communities.
Representing the harmonious confluence of water (‘blu’ for its color) and earth (‘pine’), our name – BluPine Energy – reflects our commitment to creating a more sustainable future through renewable energy.
BluPine Energy aims to progressively add around 1 GW of operational assets every year in its portfolio through utility and open access areas of Solar, Wind, and Storage. Within the first year of its inception, BluPine Energy has a pipeline capacity of around 1GW through a mix of solar and wind assets.
